Ateliers Phileas

At Circa we love craftsmanship and elegant useful objects with a soul. We met the creators of Ateliers Phileas and were immediately intrigued by their approach and philosophy, that blends authenticity of the materials and modernity of the design.

Ateliers Phileas, named after Phileas Fogg, the main character of Jules Verne “Around the World is 80 Days”, is a handmade collection of personal leather goods.

The project is a multicultural collaboration between European design and Japanese manufacture. Blending nostalgia for the vintage leather accessories and contemporary sustainable craftsmanship is the true nature of the brand.

In our shop we present the Yokohama note book covers in two sizes A5 and A6. They are made from the finest Japanese leathers and designed to be useful compagnons for everyday life. Small quantity production allows the greatest care for details and a the highest quality.
